I bought a set of four of these 11″ melamine dinner plates. I specifically chose them because they are clearly marked as dishwasher safe, there are melamine products that are not dishwasher safe. I bought them for daily use however they are fancy enough for an informal holiday dinner as well. I like the feel of them they are lightweight and substantial but not flimsy. The plates are a good size at an 11″ diameter although it does not feel like you are handling a large platter. The raised edge along the rim is a nice touch. I found them to be very reasonably priced and a good value.
