I purchased the AVAPOW 4000 peak car jump starter back in April of 2023. I needed a portable way to jump start different machinery a riding mower, tractor and small car with a 4 cyl engine here on the homestead. The LED light and USB quick charge 3.0 came in handy during occasional power outages in my home. It would jumpstart any vehicle I had including my full size 8 cyl pickup truck. Over the first year or so it began to disappoint me, first the LED light quit working and after about two years It wouldn’t hold a full charge for very long. It still works for the riding mower and garden tractor although I have to charge it up for an hour or so before I use it. I would recommend holding off on buying the AVAPOW 4000 A peak battery jump starter as battery technology is improving by leaps and bounds and it should not be long until better options are available.
Final Verdict: Still usable for light-duty equipment, but poor battery performance makes it hard to recommend buying new in 2026.
