I purchased the Febreze plug scent booster in May of 2025. I had been using the wall plug-ins for a few years. I decided it was time for a change. I chose the plug scent booster because it had a cord, which lets you place it on a counter or tabletop rather than being against the wall in an electrical outlet with limited airflow. It has held up well over the past nine months. It has the same three settings as the wall units, although I like the Boost feature, when activated with the press of a button delivers about 40 minutes of increased scent intensity. The cartridges are the same as those used in the wall units and they last a fair amount of time. One thing they don’t tell you is that you have to actually open it to see the amount of scent oil left in the cartridge. You can’t tell how much is left at a glance, when the cartridge runs out a little blue light begins to flash. My only real complaint is that I could only find that it comes in two colors: black or white. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a counter or tabletop air freshener.
Final Verdict: This is a great product for a fair price.
